Grading
- Participation and attendance: 10%
- Group presentations: 20%
- Midterm assessment: 20%
- Capstone project: 50%
Group Presentations
- Round 1: cognitive dimension definition and literature review.
- Round 2: existing benchmarks, open-source datasets, and replication plan.
- Round 3: original test-suite design.
- Format: group presentation, preferably in English for technical content.
Midterm Project Review
- Content: research question, cognitive motivation, evaluation plan, literature review progress, and paper outline.
- Paper outline: 1-2 pages in English.
- Format: 15-minute group presentation.
Capstone Project
Team: 1-2 students.
Topic: choose one listed on the Research Topics page.
Duration: the entire semester.
Goal: develop the project into a research paper for submission to CogSci.
